What’s not to adore about a mustard yellow midi dress for fall? Come fall and winter my bright and sunny wardrobe changes into warm fall colors like burgundy, mustard yellow and deep blue.

Shoes: Old Navy (similar from Target– seriously love the yellow!)

Backpack: Target (I really want this one from Fossil!)
I wore this dress to a bridal shower with a tea party theme. We were all required to wear fun hats or fascinators. I decided on this burgundy fedora hat because it was what I had already planned on wearing with my mustard midi dress!
There’s a giant river behind me and right across from one of my favorite local parks! I wish the lighting would have been better to shoot with the water in the background but the sun was shining down right on it. A black and white image was the best I could do.
When the midi trend first emerged I’ll admit I was skeptical. Did it make me look old lady like. Could I pull it off? This trend is one everyone needs to give a chance. Once you slip the midi dress on, the length is so flattering and feminine. This won’t be the last time I shop the midi look!
Has anyone ever been to a really fun or interesting Bridal Shower? I always accidentally call them Baby Showers and end up telling everyone that I am going to a baby shower. My poor friends who are getting married…everyone probably thinks their pregnant lol!
