I don’t know about you but my workouts keep me sane! Both mentally, physically and emotionally. Since there isn’t a single gym open (at least I hope not) we are all having to find ways to work out at home. I love my group workouts at Trinity Fitness more than anything and miss them big time. To make it easier on you, I thought it would be fun to put a list together of some of my favorite Youtube videos and apps I have used in the past and a few new to me options I will probably try out of boredom! 😂 There is seriously SO much out there, this list is short, sweet and hopefully less overwhelming that finding these all on your own.
Seeing everyone come together at this time (digitally I might add ha) is just the best! So many of the workout programs are giving away free 90 day trials, offering live IG virtual workout sessions and more! There is not time like the present time to start working out or switch up your routine a bit. Speaking of trying something new, I’m about to go do a booty workout on YouTube from Tone It Up! Figured my booty could use a little lifting and it looked kind of fun. 😜
Trinity Fitness at Home Workouts + Encouraging Message
TF if the gym I work out at! Personally, I’ve been following along their at home workouts when not using apps or want to stay off my phone. My gym emails them out the night before and they are also posting on their Facebook page. Feel free to use them if you want! It starts with an encouraging message in video form and then if you hit “see more” the whole workout will show.
Apps
Peleton App – first 90 days free
SWEAT: Kayla Itsines Finess (BBG)
YouTube Videos (All FREE!)
I used one of her videos the other day and loved it! She has shorter 20 minute videos which is about as much yoga I can take at one time. I felt super stretched and limber afterwards!
Instagram Live
Lululemon Live IG Live Yoga – Every Tuesday
What to Wear for At Home Workouts
Sports Bra / Tank Top / Shorts (Wearing size 6) / Sneakers
These Lululemon shorts I got as a Christmas present are amazing! I love love love the wide elastic waistband which makes them so so comfy. They do run on the smaller size so I had to size up to a 6. Would recommend them to anyone who needs new running shorts that are flattering and hold things like keys and cards!
Lots of Sunshine,
Katie
