Actually, I purposely put the socks on to stretch them out. The middle part of the shoe was a bit tight around my foot when I first tried them on! I ordered a 9 in the striped Keds! I always wear a 9-9.5 but I know in Keds I’m a true 9 in case you were needing sizing info!. I wore no show socks with the shoes on a bike ride and they fit perfectly fine after a bit of stretching!
